Testosterone Testing

OK, so now you know why your testosterone level is important, and which tests you need to order to figure out your testosterone level. What’s next?

If you suspect that you may have low T, the next step is to take action! Testing your testosterone level is easy – either have your doctor do it for you, or if you want it done quickly, simply order the test online.

I personally use PrePaidLab for my testing. It’s the same tests that your doctor would order, usually using exactly the same lab that your doctor would use – it’s just quicker and easier for me. Lab tests are all the same – they are so strictly regulated that they have to be, so I use someone cheap and fast. You don’t need to see your doctor to arrange these tests – you can simply order them online.

Personally, this is what I do:

1. I go to PrePaidLab and order this exact test online – free and total testosterone (I explain why I use this exact test here).
2. The next morning I go to the testing center (they are everywhere), no appointment needed, and give a sample.
3. In 48 hours I get an email telling me my testosterone level. Simple as that!

With this knowledge, I can decide to take action. You can take your test results to your doctor if you want to discuss this further – again, these are the same tests that he would order, and probably from the same lab.
